GENERAL FAQ's
When did you open?
Leeroy’s opened in September of 2019. Check our Facebook page for more details!
What is Esports?
Esports is a form of competition using video games. Most commonly, Esports takes the form of organized, multiplayer video game competitions, particularly between professional players, individually or as teams.
I have a PlayStation, Xbox, or Gaming Computer at home. What advantage do I get by playing games at Leeroy’s?
- Community. One of the biggest problems among gamers is the lack of community. Human beings were created to be with others! Traditionally, gamers have been seen as reclusive quiet types that sit in the back room all day long. Over time, technology allowed people to talk, chat, and have valuable online friendships. But the need for community is still great. Our desire is for people to have a safe and fun place to play games and to meet others who have similar interests.
- Sportsmanship. The gaming community has a giant problem with sportsmanship. Sore losers, sore winners, and bullies ruin the fun for everyone. Our team members not only teach people how to do better at video games, but how to be a better competitor in general:
- Say ‘Good Game’ at the end of a match, even when you lose!
- Find ways to improve your own play instead of constantly berating your teammates.
- Stuck with inexperienced players on your team? Don’t be the best player on a losing team. Use our tips to try to improve the whole team’s play. You might even just beat a more “skilled” team with your great teamwork!
- Play Time. Parents around the world complain that gaming time takes up WAY too much family time, homework time, and sleep time. Set aside time each week to come to our Esports center and play games. Then when you are home, you’re home and not worrying about video game screen time.
- Professional Esports. Most NBA, NFL, and MLB team owners own Esports franchises. Hundreds of colleges now offer Esports scholarships. It is the future of competition. And with the right coaching and practice, your child could become a professional Esports athlete one day!
Do you have PlayStation gaming stations?
No, but we do have PlayStation controllers that you can check out (at no extra cost) and connect to the PCs.
Can I leave my kids there unattended?
Kids under 12 should be accompanied by an adult. Well-behaved kids 12 and over do not need a parent with them. 🙂
How does the pricing work?
You buy playtime by the hour, day, or month. 1 hour costs $6, or 3 hours cost $12. Unused hours don’t expire, so if you buy 3 hours, but only stay for an hour, no problem! Just log off and come back another day to play some more. We also offer weekday, weekend, and monthly passes (prices vary.)
Do you have any discounts/promos?
Yes, look for specials on our website and Facebook page. In some cases you can pay as little as $3 per hour!
Can my group host a fundraiser at Leeroy’s?
Yes, have your club representative email events@leeroys.gg to get more details on holding a fundraiser event using our facility.
Do you have to wait to get a computer?
Not usually, but Friday and Saturday nights can get pretty crowded!
Can I bring my own PC or accessories?
If you have a compatible headset that you really like, feel free to bring it and connect to our systems.*
But there’s no need to bring your PC, monitor, keyboard, or mouse. Ours are excellent!
What payment methods can I use?
Cash or Credit/Debit Card.
Are there things there for parents to do while you wait?
Yes, there is a waiting area with tables, comfy chairs, and free Wi-Fi.
Do you have food and drink available for purchase?
Yes – snacks and sodas/energy drinks.
Do you have to bring or buy your own games?
No, we have all the most popular games available at no additional cost (see website.)
Can I log into my own Steam/Origin/Battle.net account?
Yes! In fact, some games offer double XP and other bonuses while playing at our center!
*Leeroy’s Esports is not responsible for any lost or damaged personal equipment.

Can adults play too?
Absolutely!!!
Other recommendations?
We want each player to have as much fun-time as possible. So we recommend that you talk to your kids about which games they will want to play before the party. In many cases, you can create your free account before you arrive. Epic Games (Fortnite), Blizzard Battle.net, Origin (Apex Legends), Riot Games (League of Legends) and many other games take some time to get an account created. So if you get your kids login names and passwords ahead of time, they can start playing right away!
Some of the kids coming to the party aren’t very experienced at playing games. Will they still have fun?
Yes! Our birthday party team member will be sure to find the right games for kids of all levels and even coach them how to discover their strengths and what games they will enjoy the most.
